On January 29, 2025, the bell of the Lunar Year of the Snake officially rings, marking the beginning of a new year with the revival of all things and a fresh new look, a most cherished traditional festival in the Chinese world.

The joy of the Spring Festival holiday extends to February 2nd, while most companies and businesses end their holiday on February 3rd and return to the challenges of work.

In traditional customs, one of the most important rituals at the start of the Lunar New Year is 'Commencement of Work'.  Fullchamp carefully selected an auspicious day, February 6th, to hold a grand blessing ceremony, praying for a smooth and prosperous year ahead.  On the ceremony altar, a lavish array of the three traditional offerings (pork, chicken, and fish) is displayed, symbolizing abundance and a prosperous life throughout the year.  The 'Fa Gao' (steamed glutinous rice cake), a ceremonial food symbolizing 'wealth' and 'prosperity,' expresses the hope for a thriving business in the coming year.

In recent years, many companies whose operations heavily rely on machinery also prepare Kuai Kuai Corn Snack, taking advantage of the homophone, to pray for smooth progress in the new year, hoping that the machines will 'operate obediently,' reducing malfunctions and ensuring the normal operation of the production line.

At the start of work, the boss distributes 'lucky red envelopes' to employees, wishing them a prosperous and smooth year ahead.

Firecrackers also play an important role in the ceremony. The deafening sound of firecrackers dispels any lingering bad luck from the past, not only expressing gratitude for the hard work of the past year but also looking forward to creating even more brilliant achievements in the coming year.
