In a challenging economic environment, global enterprises are facing unprecedented pressure to continuously seek to reduce costs and improve efficiency.  To meet the challenge, colleagues in each department of Fullchamp continue to exert the spirit of continuous improvement of QCC, actively look for potential savings opportunities, and formulate clear action plans to implement these results.

The “Reducing Lathe Defect Rate” project promoted by the [Mechanism Circle] of the Mechanism Section once again won the highest honor this year at the 216th National Quality Control Circle Conference on May 24, 2024, the “Excellent Award” and “National Quality Circle Leader Award”!

Fullchamp‘s QCC projects have been recognized by the organizer for 3 consecutive years, fully demonstrating the spirit of continuous improvement and the attitude of our colleagues to strive for excellence.

The “Reducing Lathe Defect Rate” project promoted by the [Mechanism Circle] of the Mechanism Section.  Through four months of data statistics and analysis, and tracking of the manufacturing process, the key factors causing the defective rate were identified.

Colleagues proposed improvement measures based on key factors and successfully reduced the lathe defect rate from the original 0.6% to less than 0.4% (KPI).  This not only improved product yield and product quality, but also saves the company NT$110,000 in material costs every month.

In addition to increasing business revenue and creating considerable economic benefits, this project also significantly reduces the additional carbon emissions generated when processing defective products, fulfilling SDGs Goal 12: “Promote green economy and ensure sustainable consumption and production models.”

Under the encouragement and leadership of the general manager, Fullchamp comprehensively promotes QCC activities, with colleagues from all departments actively participating to explore opportunities for improvement, and through teamwork and continuous innovation, to achieve the goals of reducing costs, improving efficiency, and improving quality.

The success of the QCC project not only created economic benefits for the company, but also contributed to environmental protection and demonstrated its determination for sustainable development.  Fullchamp will continue to be committed to the promotion and deepening of QCC activities and continue to innovate and improve in order to provide customers with the best quality products and services.
